Kaja Andrić is a senior at New York University studying Journalism and Romance Languages. She is fluent in French and Serbo-Croatian, and is conversational in Italian. She studied art history at The Sorbonne in Paris.

Andrić has been a stringer and freelancer for The New York Times since October 2023. She has also been an intern at News Decoder (Jan. 2024-25) and Soledad O’Brien Productions (Summer 2023). In 2022, she was a Florida Weekly correspondent and the Florida Scholastic Press Association’s Writer of the Year.

Andrić grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida, and now lives in New York City.
